Trupa a fost infiintata in 2000, la initiativa chitaristului Juha Raivio. Primul demo, ‘Out of This Gloomy Light’ a fost inregistrata in 2003 si le-a asigurat un contract cu casa de discui Firebox Records. Albumul de debut, ‘ The Morning Never Came’ a fost foarte bine primit. Al doilea album, ‘Ghost of loss’ a ajuns pe locul 8 in clasamentul finlandez. Al treailea album ‘Hope’ ajunge pe locul 3 un record pentru genul doom.
Ca stil se incadreza in doom/ death metal, in genul primelor albume My Dying Bride.
